We have an eight year old...an EIGHT YEAR OLD! Our sweet girl turned eight on September 19th. We started the day with our annual waffles with strawberries breakfast on our birthday dishes and spent the day shopping.

For dinner she requested Olive Garden, so the whole family went there to celebrate and ended the evening watching our Huskers lose. :( Even with a loss, we still had a great time celebrating our old lady!
For her party this year, we decided to do the whole movie theater thing. Best decision I've ever made! I pretty much had the best of both worlds--I got to do a little decorating still, but I didn't have all of the crazy clean up involved! We love the Hotel Transylvania movie, so we decided that had to be her party since the 2nd one was coming out right after her birthday. She invited a few of her closest buddies, and we had a blast!
