Another year is officially in the books! We had a busy last week full of Talent Shows, Field Day, Kindergarten programs, and typical last day of school celebrations!

| These were my fabulous teahcing partners this year. Our Field Day was a superhero theme, so of course we had to play along! |
I was able to take an afternoon off work to go to Lainey's Kindergarten program. They had a luau where they sang several songs and then had different Hawaii themed stations for us to visit after. As a teacher I don't get to attend many things, so I was thrilled to be there for her "big day". She had a speaking part (which she didn't tell us about until the night before), and she nailed it! We enjoyed celebrating the success of her first year and look forward to many more years of fun programs!

While Lainey is really sad that school is out for the summer (and honestly, I am a little too!), I am definitely in need of a break! Every year our staff has a last day of school get together. This usually involves a lot of food and a lot of alcohol. While I may not drink a lot, teachers drink...A LOT. ;) So this year was no different. Our staff rented a party bus, and it was an absolute blast! The most fun part about it was that we had such a wide variety of ages on the bus ranging from 24 to almost 60! We spent three hours driving around, stopping at a few bars, and just dancing the afternoon away on the bus. It was a fun ending to my "era" at PVH!

And naturally the next day, we headed straight for the pool. I can't think of a better way to kick off summer break and look forward to many more days poolside!
