Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend.  Friday after work we headed up to my parents' house.  Mom always seems to "claim" the Saturday before Easter so she can show off her grandbabies at her local easter egg hunt. :)  I don't really argue with her though, because that means I don't have to do any cooking or cleaning for the big weekend, ha!  Saturday morning we headed to town for the first hunt of the day, and then we headed back to Mom & Dad's to play awhile.  The grandkids got to have another egg hunt on the farm, and even more fun than that, they got to just run free around the farm--the

We all headed to Jake & Megan's Saturday night and hung out there and stayed the night.  The next morning we headed to the church they all go to for Easter Sunday service.  It was a nice service, and it was especially nice since my mom, dad, and brother were on worship team.  After church we headed back to Jake & Megan's for Easter lunch and then headed home to prepare for the week ahead.  We had a great time, and as always, I am reminded how blessed we are to be so close to family now!
