Disney Vacation 2015-Day 3-Hollywood Studios

The girls woke up to a Star Wars gift in preparation for our day at Hollywood Studios.  This was the first day of the last weekend of Star Wars Weekends, so we knew it was going to be nothing less than chaotic at the park that day.  We were up bright and early and headed to the park. We decided to drive there because we didn't want to rely on the bus to get us there on time. We left at 7 with the park opening at 8 thinking we would be there with time to spare...we thought wrong! Apparently I misjudged the obsession love of Star Wars fans. There were SO MANY people already there! Long story short, Lainey and I split from Jovan, Mom, Lilly, and the stroller so we could get in the park faster and attempt to sign Lainey up for Jedi Training Academy. In our attempt to split, we went to ask a cast member a question right at the same time they were opening three more turnstiles so we got to the very front of the line! 

They had to specially lead people in the park once it opened because there were so many people rushing to get in line for the Star Wars characters and to sign their kid up for the Jedi Training Academy. There may or may not have been a little arguing between two families behind me. Good grief, is it really that big of a deal?!? But hey--we got in, and that's what matters, right?!

After the training academy, we spent the morning riding rides, walking around the Studios, meeting characters, and just taking it all in!

Nana, Lilly, and I headed back to the resort for a little afternoon nap and pool time while Lainey & Jovan stayed to watch the Indiana Jones Spectacular. Once they got back, Jovan and I headed out for a date night!
